History of YMCA GAZA

Established in 1952 by a group of young people working in the field of sports, social services and education to communicate with the Palestinian community in Gaza Strip without distinction or discrimination in terms of religion, creed, sex or nationality in order to carry out activities in sports, social services and education.

In 1954  the Near East Council of Churches helped the YMCA in building a small place that has been recognized as the nucleus of the YMCA location to this date.
